David Marks grew up three doors down from the Wilson brothers. At thirteen he was standing on a stage as a Beach Boy, playing rhythm guitar on Surfin' Safari, Surfin' USA, Surfer Girl and Little Deuce Coupe — four albums in barely eighteen months.

Sixty years later he is still touring, still telling the story, and still playing the songs that built the California sound.
